PLEASE COMMENT OR RATE!!! Just a quick demo of my new FL3AC. I've been on a search for the perfect acoustic for the last few months and this is it. The video doesn't do the unplugged sound justice (sorry about the background noise in my flat), but hopefully it shows how good the plugged-in sound is. The face-brace sensor really captures the tone of the guitar quite well in comparison to a normal piezo bridge pickup. This model FL3AC has a bunya top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fretboard and bridge. I tried all the other wood combinations and this was by far my favourite - I recommend trying it. The plugged and unplugged tracks were recorded simultaneously through an MBox 3 Pro into Pro Tools. A Carillon Axis 2 Mic was used to capture the unplugged bit. No effects or EQ were used. The settings on the FL3AC pre-amp were almost flat, with a slight push (around 10%) to the mids and (around 15%) to the treble. The blend was around 95% face brace sensor, around 5%! bridge piezo. Some more info about this guitar can be found here: www.coleclarkguitars.com Sorry about the playing - I'm not a guitar virtuoso - this is just to demonstrate the guitar. The song is Gold Dust Woman by Fleetwood Mac.
